In the CR-Z, this system is made up of a 112-horsepower 1.5-liter 4-cylinder gas engine with 107 pound-feet of torque and an electric motor paired with a nickel-metal hydride battery pack that puts out 13 horsepower and 58 pound-feet of torque. Combined, these two engines allow for 122 horsepower and 128 pound-feet of torque. Your transmission can be either a standard 6-speed manual transmission or an optional CVT with paddle shifters. Most importantly, whichever transmission you choose will guarantee you good fuel economy, with 31 city/37 highway on the manual and 35 city/39 highway on the CVT.
